Approval
Bind human intent to the exact action an agent is allowed to take.
Independent technology practice
One Hart Group works on the safeguards organizations need when software agents move beyond recommendations and begin changing financial systems.
Bind human intent to the exact action an agent is allowed to take.
Track each attempt, retry, and downstream response without ambiguity.
Compare the intended outcome with the final state across financial systems.
Built around a narrow question
Was the exact action approved, executed once, and reconciled to the final state?
Current work
We are validating a focused assurance layer for finance agents that create or change consequential records.
The work examines the boundary after approval: whether the approved action remains intact through execution, retries, partial outcomes, and reconciliation across external systems.
This is an active commercial and technical validation effort—not a claim that every organization needs another platform.
Approach
Broad governance promises are easy to make. A bounded workflow reveals whether a control actually adds value.
Select one consequential, write-capable workflow.
Map the gap between approval and the downstream result.
Test a contained control and evidence layer against real failure modes.
About
One Hart Group LLC is an independent technology practice founded by Hart Thompson. The work sits at the intersection of agentic AI, financial operations, architecture, and security.
We use direct technical inquiry and contained pilots to separate necessary controls from unnecessary complexity.

If your finance agents can make consequential changes, we would like to understand how you control the gap between approval and the final state.
